Severe weather is published as warnings, watches, radar and coded observations that are precise, public, and unreadable without training. Stormfetch decodes all of it into sentences a person can act on — what is coming, where, when it arrives and what it means — for any point in the country, with aviation's METAR and TAF reports handled the same way for pilots. The same decoding runs behind a JSON API for developers who would rather not write the parser themselves.
